He is a deadbeat, but he acts independently and got help from kronies due to family connections & money. His expedition happens in 1150s and his main goal is prestige, but also to document custodians which he believes live in Yabathoth. I have written the LAB to have helped him (for a price, naturally) with finding and setting up camp. Ideally I'd want to include mentions of other cultures as well, but i dont know yet. His plan is to prepare the campsite first by himself, and to get accustomed to the north as he foolishly tries to winter there alone, before the rest of his expeditionary group arrives the following spring. The actual composition of the spring expedition is unknown to me as of yet.
