It’s a game that started being produced in 2020 or early 2021 and got released recently, with lots of old ass references including Coco.

era, where any of the Holo girls even acknowledging the existence of the new homos (StarsEn) meant (from the perspective of the beggar crowd) tacit authorization for them to beg for collabs, pester them in chat and twiiter about that and insert them in fanarts and scenarios with the stars.
That was aided by beggar clippers like Obotetai, which would specifically clip any mention of the holostars by the girls to enable this behavior with “evidence”, and game developers like this one, by adding references to the holostars that the girls couldn’t avoid, only to be made into clips like “12 holo girls react to (let’s say) Magni item”.

That backfired TREMENDOUSLY because it forced the girls not even ACKNOWLEDGE the holostars existence (to avoid this behavior), which led to the present day situation.
In 2020 and 2021 people wouldn’t give a second thought about a holo girl mentioning one of the holostars on streams and Bae even disclosed Roberu being her oshi.
In 2022, even Fauna followed the new Holostars on twitter, again with no controversy at all.
In 2023 the biggest “victory” the beggar crowd got one of the new debuts following 3 of them. The “frontlines” moved so deep into the beggars territory that they considered it a victory

Nerissa even went as far as UNLIKING art that featured the Holostars alongside her when she unwittingly liked it.

The stars being erased from the Holo universe, and the girls avoiding Idol Showdown due to the forced homo references is a symptom of that.

The whole situation (attributed to Omega) was essentially “The Itchy & Scratchy and Poochi Show”, and the homos are very close to “die on the way to their home planet” depending on the outcome of Vesper and Magni situation
