Neither did Shondo. She took pride in being able to say hello to every single person in chat, said that it was something she would never stop doing, but +500 CCV later and it just wasn't feasible to maintain. It doesn't mean that Shondo loves us any less, it's just that she's a single person with only so much time and energy. And while little things like that may have changed over the months, her life has improved so much due to her growing popularity. She makes enough to be the sole provider for her family, she's able to afford air conditioning and new streaming equipment and presents for her family on Christmas. She has enough money to buy her childhood home and liberate her family from their overbearing landlord. Shondo is more "detached" from her audience right now than she's ever been, but I couldn't be happier because I want to see her succeed and live the best life she can

Depends on who you ask, but in reality it works both ways. The intelligent have a strong tendency to underestimate their intelligence and their difference to the average. It's hard to estimate others' mental abilities in comparison to yours like that, even if you've experience in it. It's doubly so if you've self-esteem issues or mental health problems.
The average, in comparison to someone with, say, two SD above average IQ is a complete moron.

Despite all of the hardships in her life, she's one of the most dedicated and hardworking streamers I've ever seen. She could spend all day complaining about how hard she has it, how catastrophically the world has fucked her over during the course of her life, and from the little her audience knows about her personal life, they would see this as justified because most of them would have cracked from even a fraction of the pressure she has sustained. But she doesn't do any of that. Instead she's a font of love and affection, a smiling beacon of light and happiness to everyone she interacts with. Her streams are nothing but positivity. If she's willing to go through all of that just to make my day better, supporting her in return is the least that I can do. Every nice/funny comment, every sub, every piece of art I make is a way to repay her for the happiness she gives to everyone, and it's a price I will gladly pay.
