I genuinely really like FGO. There's a lot of filler events and such, but when one of the core Fate writers knocks out something really special it's genuinely like getting a free top tier visual novel. Hell, the most recent story chapter is longer than the ACTUAL original Fate VN. And the gameplay is interesting enough but simple enough that I can chill and grind while listening to streams, which is my ideal peak comfy state. And I think I've only spent like...40 bucks I didn't even need to total despite playing for over 3 years now.
