Tickets were sold at the beginning of april, and while things weren't the best they were looking okay. We had several watchalongs and a few streams, and the prospect of movie may to look forward to. No one saw absolutely nothing coming for the end of may and most of June. Plus I like most of the other ENs and have always wanted to to fes. This might not be the exact same but it's pretty fucking close, and tickets were way easier to get over planning a JP trip and hoping to win the ticket lottery.
