One of the big reasons Covers generally speaking do better than originals is because usually the Holo's YT channel is the ONLY place to listen to it. Whereas for originals the numbers get split up between all the different platforms it gets posted to (pic related, and this isn't even including iTunes and a few other platforms). Not saying it's the only reason obviously, but it's something to keep in mind.
