When schizos start Timeloops

Alright, since the CCV vs VOD timeloop is happening again, let's just restate the reasons why we use CCV instead of VODs -

1. Live Horseracing is half the reason for CCV use, as peak CCV is akin to a sports game, which is also the reason why we don't use averages.
2. VOD comparisons have way too many variables affecting it, like -
> VOD length.
> Audience spread (JP focussed vs Global).
> Clippability.
> Algorithm shenanigans.
For comparing VODs to make sense, you'd need to factor in every single one of these metrics, and ALSO have a proper cutoff for comparison (i.e. 24-48 hours after Stream end).
This also doesn't account for VODs like Gura's Duolingo which go viral months after they occur.
But really the main reason why we don't use VODs is that there's no site that tracks them in a handy way with a proper cutoff, while for CCV there's Vstats, Vrabi, Live-ranking and many others.
3. Watching for 30s counts as '1 view' for a VOD. This is why "VOD length * views = WATCH TIME!" is a retarded metric, as it assumes that everyone who watched 30s of the VOD and then fucked off, actually watched the ENTIRE fucking thing.
