I definitely overpaid for that one, because it was to get his ass in gear. You know he finished that thing in 7 days? I was really impressed.
The "not quality checking" thing is nonsense, though, on every fic but the Nene one. Only time I've ever been really unsatisfied was the first pass of BoSS where I wanted a partial rewrite.
None of them are perfect - except Shrunken Troubles - but with something like writing commissions, you gotta make compromises. Rewriting thousands of words delivers some serious mental strain and I don't want to put the writers I commission through that because I want them to retain enjoyment of writing as a hobby, which I think is difficult when money gets involved.

Yeah, a-ha-ha-ha... I don't think that was the intention at the start, but it did kind of turn out that way... I dunno. Think it's too late to ask for changes 2 months after delivery and whilst he's (supposedly) working on someone else's commission?
