If you were a frequent viewer with decent Japanese you'd know that Miko does this all the time. She's a pon, she fucks up, she gets teased by chat and Holomems, she leans into it, and makes the whole situation entertaining.
Is she bothered by her lackluster English? Yeah, she is, she actually has said so herself. However, that doesn't stop her from trying (and failing) to communicate again and again. In fact, if you watched streams, you'd know that her definition of "elite" is not "someone who is great/perfect at something", but rather "someone who tries again and again to achieve their goal, no matter how many attempts it takes". One of her personality traits is to keep trying no matter how many times she has to eat shit. Kinda similar to Kanata.
This whole situation arises from you spouting shit based on half-knowledge without realising that she not only doesn't mind being reminded of her mistakes, but she actually gets more motivated to keep trying every time.
Try watching some streams along with your clips sometimes.
