Yeah, there were ideas like that being bounced around with the /pcg/ anon. Definitely makes sense to have some kind of close relationship with the motherland.
Worldbuilding is a lot of things, but basically it's writing out stuff about some fictional world. Some people write stories set in the world, others just write poems or articles or make drawings or maps about some aspects of the world. For me it's a hobby that is a bit like building a diorama, but in writing instead of physically.
