The funny thing is that the character isn't even dead!
Kira, Magni and Vesper are just alumni and though incredibly unlikely to happen, could theoretically come back.
It's pretty clear, like Coco before, that they are moving on to a better situation and wouldn't want to return.
But "eventually" with new management heading the branch, better skills at handling idol tasks, and a willingness to make major sacrifices, someone in their shoes could find them self's in a more stable place in their lives years down the road where they might want to go back.
