This has nothing to do with Cover. YouTube has started cracking down on clippers, because they don't want people making most of their money from other people's content. Recently a Nyanners and LordAethelstan clip channel called Froyo Dealer got demonetized despite the fact that both Nyanners and LordAethelstan liked his clips. They got around this by creating a channel they both owned called Castle Express, and gave him full access to post clips while he received the money from those clips.
