Ohh what's gen 3 like? Have they revealed the tarots?
The descriptions of the pod were really good, I could visualize it pretty well. The mention of flywheels is neat, this is actually a pretty interesting design consideration, whether to use RCS or gyros for rotation. RCS when used properly will give you a lot more torque for the mass, and thus be lighter, but they expel propellant, so they create a heat signature and can run out of fuel. Flywheels are much heavier for the torque they can exert and require a power input to change your angular velocity, but they are fully contained beside the torque they exert. Larger ships probably tend to prefer RCS, though they might always want to have some flywheels for stabilization purposes and fine adjustments, while flywheels are ideal for tiny ships (such as this pod) that don't require a lot of torque to rotate.
TIL about astrodomes. That's funny, the common sci-fi wisdom is that in hard scifi you'd want to avoid any kind of vulnerable points like windows, but for some applications and situations where your technology is not as reliable, you'd definitely want to have a more manual backup like that. If Atomic Rocket talks about it, it's legit! The comparison to mopping the decks is funny.
So, I've got a feeling the brighter droplets isn't just an illusion on the MC's part. That's either foreshadowing for some other mystery, or the particle beams hitting the ship introduced a shit ton of heat and the heat management systems are now attempting to get rid of that extra heat. Cool detail.

I didn't like Royal's bonus content nor Golden's. It feels so intrusive to the original context and ends up making the whole experience feel more stilted as a result. For all of Answer's problems, at least they had the decency to shoehorn it in after the base game already concluded.
