I'd wonder if making the lure a light blue instead might work, but she felt that making the hair blonde also adds too many colors to the design when she wanted to keep it as simple as she could. On the other hand I feel like white hair with the white shirt might make it a bit too monochrome. She's accepting feedback and input, and there ought to be plenty of time for it since she's still looking for an artist.
I was worried a new design would be jarring, but this looks nice. It's mostly the colors that she's concerned about now.
