It's ridiculous how fucking numberrotted this thread has become as of late. It's like you people have completely lost any sense of scale when it comes to what the average streamer on Youtube and Twitch gets for viewership, even 3views is enough to live off of, 1k is enough to be in the top 1% of all streamers, and 10k is enough to consistently be in the Top 20 on Twitch. Even streamers Youtube poached from Twitch like Sykkuno and Ludwig can't get 20k on most days, enough to be in the Top 10 on any given day. The goalposts are constantly moving so that no matter how much you get, 20k, 50k, 100k, it's never 'good numbers' unless its to shit on someone else's number, and even then it's just to serve as 'proof' that every other number is 'bad numbers'

It's retarded how seriously you idiots take daily gold when you're measuring metrics that don't matter, that have been proven again and again to be unreliable data. Call it 'Cull Cope' or 'VoD Cope' or whatever you like, but everything from mountain graphs, Zs, raids, and the abundance of available data for other metrics like total views and hours watched that have actual monetary impact, all of it discredits CCV from having any kind of legitimacy. Getting genuinely or even ironically invested in a horserace over numbers with no real world relevance that aren't even accurate is probably the dumbest waste of time I've seen outside of dedicated shitposters, who just spam on cooldown 18 hours a day and maybe pay actual money on the means to ban evade and samefag harder.

And don't pretend like only shitposters care, they wouldn't show up to pretend they're retarded if there weren't already actual retards here to blend in with, some of you people actually do let the numbers live rent free in your head. Even some Stars are 4views now while there isn't a single VERSEn who isn't a 3view or even worse literal 2views, the entire streaming industry is in recline this year(picrel), and yet Vtubers as a whole are still growing somehow. So stop caring about who has gold, accept that things are good and they're getting better, and cure your damn numberrot already.
