i don't see the issue with just soem funposting, that itself has created basis for many lorebuiilding and stories itself.

i also honestly don't see why avataposting ect is bad, if anythign it made things way more easier to see since you could directly connect a psot to a nation ect and let you know if stuff is relevant to you or not, right now for example whenver i see luna i know that it is posts in regards to stuff that is not relevant to me atm and does not cocnern me but i also knwo in the future if i do want to interact with them wich posts i have to look at.
i also don't see how the thread going faster impedes on workign on stuf fof your own. what is written here msotly does not impede on building things for my own nation. risuners being horny does not inflict upon what ores are mined in the retro reich.

and also if you all are such olfaqs you all seem to have a really ahrd time to simply cruise by or filter out posts that you do not care about. i got a wagecage job and are at time away for 2-3 threads at a time because of it and i cannot check up on it on work either but besides my trip to the hospital i usually can at least somewhat catch up and be aware of things happening

From a Meta perpective there is no need for this massive a landchange to happen. since the new /pcg/ rep also wants to build upon the, thus far non-canon lore, of his predecessor this proposal also completly ignores the way the land was structured before. Chuubanite also has no reason for thsi change since it is not even noted down if the cyberlive chuubanite was chuuba specific or was one based on thread concept and if its the latter than this would actually give /pcg/ access to cyberlive chuubanite for quite some time before it adapts to /pcg/ chuubanite. From a Lore perspective, if the event is to mimic the events that happened than it makes more sense that the followers of yellow lumi and yuri were driven out of their lands and forced to mass migrate into /pcg/

I honestly see no point in splittign the voting and the mediating part of the Rep role since if you trust the most "mature" person with mediating for a thread then logicly it follows that the same person also should vote in good conscience for the thread

the downfall of /nasa/ did not lie in the fact that the guy voting was also in charge of mediating but the fact that the two did not properly communicate with one another what their expections for their thread were and that the rep took every shitpost of cunt by face value and felt the need he HAD to somehow force it into all lore for them, even retroactively if it meant changing the whole aspect of what the nation is because sana made some joke on stream instead of figuring out what should be even looked at twice and to not jsut nillywilly change the nation every week from the ground up.

but sicne a lot of people seem to confuse beign a rep jsut to mean being a writer for the thread we should probably rename this role from rep to mediator to better convey what the role is supposed to do as well as remove it from what newanons think beign a rep means.

the mediator role is important. just because Panon is a reasonable person does not mean everyone will be.

Also threads need to be in control in regards of their own nation. as much as some might want to pretend, no one knows the details of each nation or understands what the intentions of other threads are with their own nation.

lets say Panon write a super cool historic battle piece between /lazulight/ and /risu/. Panon is satisfied, the rest of the thread loves it for it is a good quality piece and well thought out but /risu/ hates it because they feel it does not properly convey their nation since it involves no gemmagic but isntead weapons they never mention that they have. Now what? should /risu/s opinion be overruled because it is a written as a cool piece and most of thread loves it? i say No, /risu/s opinion should weight in here because it involves them and they know /risu/ better than anyone else.

And same with within people of a thread. if there are more people for a thread someone should have some in the lead to coordinate. What if 2 peopel of a thread are of complete opposite opinion and cannot come to an agreement. It happened with /nasa/ a lot but besides some thigns here and there, the thread basicly let it happen. Why? because ultimately /nasa/ should know /nasa/ the best. And a Mediator should be someone that in such a case looks for a way to find common ground and solution.

If a Mediator is abusing his Power then the others of a Thread should actively seek out /vtwbg/ so that the Rest can check what the Issue is and when they deem somethign an Abuse of Power then can overrule the Decision made by the Mediator and if necessary relief him of his Position.

The Priority of input when it comes to written Works should be:
-The Mediator for the Nation the written Work references.
-Representatives of the Nation that come from the Thread of that Nation and are primarly writing for that Nation.
-People from outside the Nation that hail from a different Thread that for one Reason or Another are writing outside their own Nation.

/vtwbg/ withholds the right to Interfere this Order and change Priority if deemed necessary, example Pomerlane Saga.
