SyMix will eventually become BG6. Given the results of my preview LoRAs, I expect BG6 to blow BG5 out of the water, but LoRAs and finetunes are different beasts, so I can't promise anything. I'm also ultimately not in charge of BG, so anything can happen.

Yes, this is absolutely true. I like the artstyle baggage (I prompt for classical painters and use other style LoRAs all the time), but preferences may vary. And a LoRA is always a more superficial "fix" than a model.

I know bbw-step anon; he's helping to work on BG6, but I think he has been/will be unavailable for a few months. I don't think he will work on bbw-step since he is trying to improve things directly at the source with BG.

Other than him and the BG maintainer, it's just me. I wish I could release it faster but I can only tag so much in a day. I took last week off to focus on tagging to get the preview LoRA out.

And yeah, BG, especially older BG, used to look like shit. I'm working on it.
