It's actually because since kronii was violently abused by her father she's basically never had any good or reliable male figures in her life until she collabed with tempus, and vesper fufills the kindly non threatening reliable older male that doesn't demand repayment that kronii has always wanted in her life, another thing is that from pretty much every chick that I met that's wanted to be a man does so mostly cause they have no male to rely upon in their life so they decide the only reasonable course of action is to become that reliable male, however if the ever get a reliable close male in their life they usually give up on trying to be a man and I don't think kronii is any different from the examples I've seen(altho there are different types of ftm that have different reasons). So what I'm basically saying is that vesper saved kronii from becoming a tranny by being her own daddy shaped punching bag
