Who knows, maybe the recent conventions are sorta like an internal test for Anykara to see what works better. On one end you had Shu's model looking like it was rendering at 144p with how bad the connection there probably was so they might not go with more of those. On this end, maybe things will pan out better with less technical difficulties, at the cost of Rosemi being stalked by a bunch of Ojisans.

By all accounts you're right. West coast also tends to get summer fires constantly as well, and visiting America over the border you can definitely feel a small difference, especially in terms of road infrastructure. Canadian planners really didn't expect many people to come and move here or leave the cities due to rising costs, and pre COVID there was no shortage of fellow leafs that went over the border to do some shopping/tourism in Washington, even vidya can be cheaper in the US at times than in Canada.

Why would you even give players the option to save a character and then decide at the very end that if they want to save them, they have to start over at the very beginning of the fucking game?! Sitting through all those boring moments of nothing happening, and probably unskippable cutscenes. That's genuinely the dumbest fucking idea ever implemented in one of these games.
