I've been here since Lazulight's debuts and the way NijiEN has been going has just made me so demoralized.
I'm sure the usual posters will call this bait or act like no one could ever have genuine gripes but it's my true feelings. The branch started off with so much optimism and nowadays we don't even get to go a single day without drama, and even on feel-good days like today management just has to go and fabricate drama out of nothing. It's so fucking depressing that being a NijiEN fan is an emotional drain rather than improving my mood. Outside of my oshi's streams every time I come here I'm prepared to be bombarded with the latest garbage management or antis have cooked up to lower the branch's reputation even further.

Maybe this gives some perspective for anons who wonder why anyone would want their oshi to go to another corpo. Because I'm just fucking tired of the endless drama, I just wanna enjoy streams and buy merch without all the other baggage. I don't wanna have to worry about my oshi's mental health every day because her employer sucks.

See back in those days we where just random names on forums, icq and so on, they social media became the norm, gone where the days of being careful, the most tenet of the internet was always to protect your identity, now people willingly plaster it all over the place, we have all these websites to post our data, our work experiences and heaven help you if you don't have a trackable social media history, it makes it harder for people to hire you.

The the first video you posted is a bit to facetious, yea AI is improving but as it stands it still cannot do inflections of any sort, and to you would need access to hell of a database to teach it to sound like billions of people, the issue is largely how regulation tends to overstep because most people don't understand the tech, AI, aka machine learning has existed for a long time, the tech was simply given to the internet at large now and the internet did like the internet does, AKA lets make people say racist shit which sadly accelerated the race to regulate it.
