Kiki and I are like two spores. Tossed about in the tumultuous breeze of life until by fate we met on a shady forest floor. Our hyphae extended coquettishly until they met and our mycelial love germinated. From there it spread out for miles into the nutritious soil in search of detritus and plant roots to make a home out of. Yes there are rainy days to be had once in a while. But from them come an outpouring of reaffirmation of our love in form of fruiting bodies. Determined to begin the cycle anew our spores spread into the wind. I wonder where the breeze of life will take us next.
