Hear, hear! I have come to bring you yet more Aqua! Hope you enjoy part 4 of the Kombini-story, it should be picking up the pace a little now.

From this point on, you continue to text with Aqua on the daily. At first, you both pretend as if this is just a friendly thing, mainly about her work. She had complained that constructive criticism is hard for her to come by - people are either praising her for things as easy as breathing, or hate on her for no tangible reason at all. Therefore, you agree to give her your two cents on her projects, should she ask for them – all under the premise that, if she does, you would be completely honest with her. Admittedly, you are only looking for a pretense to tease her and get away with it. She probably can tell, but agrees nonetheless.

As the days pass, your conversations turn more and more casual. You start to talk about whatever you feel like. Aqua stops reminding you of her streams, but you visit whenever you can, anyways. She knows it, too. The pink haired girl tells you about her day-to-day life and you do the same. It is quite interesting to see how creative she gets when it comes to tweaking her real stories to make them ‘audience-friendly’ and you have to admit that she has quite the creative streak, despite her air-headedness.

You are also elated to see that Aqua was not a complete mental wreck, despite her issues with social interaction. A normal girl with normal problems - add a crippling anxiety to look people in the eye into the mix, and you had Aqua. At the end of it all, there was no denying that you had grown quite fond of her… and you suspect that she might even feel the same way. There is just the issue that neither of you is willing to take the next step.

A month passes and the goodnight messages Aqua sends you get cutesy to the point of being downright flirtatious. She sometimes sends you pictures during the day, too – nothing too spicy or racy, but nothing you would send your mother either.

Two months and you start to share a lot of small secrets and fears with each other – most of them are silly shower thoughts, which you would have never thought of sharing with someone before coming to know the dorky streamer. At first, you wonder if you tell those things out of some sense of obligation. You had come to know somewhat guarded information about Aqua after all, so maybe you feel like you have to return the favor? After some reflection, it turns out that reality is much simpler: there is just this oddly comfortable atmosphere you feel when chatting with the girl and that was all there was to it.

By the third month, the sexual tension between you is so taunt that you could play the banjo on it. You finally decide to take action. As you write with her during your lunch break, you casually mention that you have no food left at home and will be stopping by the convenience store after work again. You make sure to be very happy about the prospect of getting off work on time today, hoping to plant an idea in the head of your pink-haired interest.
