I mean the whole thing makes sense, easy mod support would potentially lead to things completely outside of their control and Cover might get mad at official pixel sex mods or something. The guy isn't even chimping out in a DELETE THIS rant either, all he did was say there will never be official mod support for the game (no point in being an asshole who tries to block that kind of thing since every game ever can be modded anyway) and call out the guy who made the Pippa mod for using a leaked build to do it and shamelessly asking him if he wants help to implement mod support nonetheless.
The holodrones autistically REEing and the obvious catalogshitters who even use /vt/ terms (I bet there's a thread about this in the catalog) are another story though.
