This is a way, way more respectful layoff than anyone could hope for in any job or position. In the real world, you are simply dropped like a sack of shit. Negotiations were made but went nowhere, and that's that. I chalk this whole thing up to Yuri's youth. It's impossible to hate her but she did a dumb thing. Rules exist for a reason and so do contracts. You either do the thing you're supposed to do and stick to what you signed or you have no place at your position. This is true for any and all jobs, positions, everything. Her mistakes almost certainly stem from her inexperience and naivete, and this was her first taste of how things are done in the real world - but with more tact and courtesy than she'd get anywhere else. If she redebuts anywhere else under any circumstances her reputation will remain damaged, and in the end she only hurt herself. This is why I attribute no malice to her actions, but mere stupidity. She didn't know how good she had it.

Her youth is the only thing that makes it somewhat understandable. She quite literally has no idea what she has done to herself. I don't think she'll be a vtuber anymore in any capacity.
