I am being facetious but if you dig the archives you can see similar comments. This people they try to found flaws everything she says and does. So when something "bad" happens they use the opportunity to release their frustration and try to hurt our little bunny. There is also plenty of people that hate Hololive and Vtubers. And Pekora's fame makes her the perfect target.
Obviously this is a nothing burger, the resent hastag thrend shows you that the rest of japan thinks that there is nothing abnormal or shameful about it. But unfortunately they got triggered by the schizos and they end up making a big deal out of this. But Pekora is used to this kind of bullshit, and she as us to be there for her, but not to argue with trash, but to cheer for her let her know that she is not alone.
