/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

I just genuinely do not understand how hard it can be to sit in front of a microphone for an hour and talk so your audience can hear you. Not lay on a bed, not sniff the floor in the corner or whatever, just sit in front of the microphone and speak towards it. That's it. It is not a hard thing to do, no matter how tired you are. There is no degree of tired that doesn't allow that. Yet here we are. The only way I can justify it is that they honestly don't give a single shit about their audience to the point that even this miniscule effort is too much for them and not worth their time. Which might be completely possible considering how they treated their fans the last couple of months, especially the usual two suspects, but I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt. Having so much contempt towards your viewerbase is so weird to me. But nothing else makes sense otherwise.
I can understand being tired or unenthusiastic or quiet or whatever. It may be shitty but I get that. Just sitting in front of a microphone so your viewers can actually literally at least hear you, is not hard. I don't get it.

Noir is like me but about 5 years older, so sometimes his topics are a little too old for me and sometimes it's the other way around and I'm 5 years ahead of him in knowledge. But everything in the middle is pretty relatable 99% of the time. He's like the older brother I never had.
Problem is, I'm not sure how viable his thing is in the long run. I can build railways in Factorio for 5000 hours, but I'm not sure I'd watch stuff like that, you know? I guess we'll see how Dwarf Fortress goes.
