Otsonny!! Minecraft gorilla, asset use, building? What year is it... I can't say I was expecting him to stream before the collab but I certainly can't complain. I also have to commend him for doing a dedicated Minecraft stream for the first time in months though, it's as if he's trying to discipline himself and build stamina for the game again KEK. Jokes aside it was a really comfy stream! He's still marching along, making progress on HQ bit by bit. Today, after he told us about some of his recent and painfully stupid/preventable AFK deaths, it was back to the basement to work on the holding cells and get started on the interrogation room. Fighting with little details as always, trapping a fox in the walls because of its screams for that schizophrenic prison experience, the usual. Kinda silly but it makes me happy he actually has ideas again... the plumbing system sounds cute and it would be funny if the room 101 concept pans out. ...And the zoo is not in fact forgotten! When he at last exhausted his will to build he set out on an adventure, which is always my favorite Minecraft content from him. Flying around, getting sidetracked, finding shipwrecks, and he showed his classist side when he'd stop to ransack villages and shamed them when the loot was shit. It was around this time he also shared his tentative plans for the future; after HQ is pretty much done, he wants to fly far, far away from civilization and create his own little empire where he can autistically strip resources and loot structures in peace. I am... actually pretty excited for that arc, whenever it may come... even if he'll be isolating himself from everyone else. Going off the grid could be a great change of pace, ha. What kind of house will he build out in the sticks? What kind of riches will he bring back home? I look forward to it! Back to the present, i don't remember if this was his original objective, but on the way home he ended up bringing back a donkey, some horses, and even found the dogs he accidentally abandoned in the last stream. Not a bad way to wrap things up. Now I'm really curious what Sonny's Ark would look like... Good stream though, plenty of silly moments. The interrogation room seems to be another thing he'll struggle to design on-stream so I look forward to seeing its transformation next time when he inevitably figures it out offline.

Overwatch collab a bit later was also a riot, as expected. I have my doubts he actually slept at all but sonny luckily was up relatively on time... naturally things didn't quite go as expected though, they just wanted to have fun and carry my boy a bit but the ranking system was oftentimes the real enemy. I can't claim to understand it at all but it was really fucking hilarious watching them fight with it as the boys would get locked out of their respective roles on a whim just because they lost a match, actually sonny could only go DPS for the first game and then he was forcibly demoted after they lost. They made it work though. This is a really funny group, with two infamously toxic tryhards (said 95% affectionately) shittalking the enemy team and then sonny, who's just along for the ride. It results in some incredible banter. Sonny tends to keep chat closed when he's playing on his own stream (force of habit maybe) so it was always great watching selen open chat to argue with people in the lobby, i think those were some of the best parts of the stream. Especially when sonny got literally who'd after someone on the other team apparently only recognized vox and selen in a moment that was both hilarious and unfortunate... at least they avenged him in the end. There were good matches, sometimes they got steamrolled, can't say much in the way of gameplay as always but I very much feel that the interactions made up for not understanding the goddamn game and sonny at least got to end on a win before he left. I couldn't stay for too much longer afterwards, though I did witness vox abandoning selen for tacos, but even then I think this is definitely one of my favorite collabs in recent memory... I really appreciated the HotS murky lore from vox too. "He's shit, but he's always there" really resonated with me... kind of profound and relatable honestly.

Sonny will unfortunately be going out of town from tomorrow 'til around Tuesday as we learned previously, and while I'm one nosey motherfucker and would love to know what he's up to it is mostly less upsetting than his previous breaks considering the packed week we've had + the fact he at least let us know in advance this time. It's truly amazing what a little communication can do for the soul... I jest. Considering his lack of sleep I have a feeling he's not going to try and make one last push to finish okami before he leaves, so I will look forward to the finale upon his return. Thank you taichou, I'll miss you! Good luck with whatever you're up to and I'll try to keep myself occupied until you get back. Rest well and godspeed! o7
