I guess at this point I'm just staying for the ride to see where it goes. And as awful as things have gotten, I still care about her. I don't think I'll ever completely give up on her, but I guess I've got to try to let go a bit and basically become a casual fan who just sees what she's up to every once in a while rather than making her my focus.

So, do you think we'll actually see some of these projects that have apparently been being worked on for forever on her birthday? I want to look forward to it, but I can't help but feel that I'm going to be disappointed again.

Yeah, it's pretty clear this is the most we're ever going to get, occasional acknowledgements and updates amidst long periods of nothing. She's addressed lack of communication and streams in some way, what, 5 or 6 times so far? Things get better for a little while and then go back to how they were. I don't think the 7th time will go any differently.

I'm glad that she's finally addressed it (again), but I also can't help but be a bit depressed that it's official that things are never going back to how they were. A part of me always believed she really would be back to streaming and posting regularly again. I don't want a new normal...

Same here. I want to be hopeful, but I think is like the 3rd time she's acknowledged she needs to do better and started doing so, only to relapse again. Either way there's not really much that can done about, so I'll just wait and see.

Well, just glancing through this thread answers my question on if there's been any news. Can't really say much that hasn't already been said a thousand times before, but I really hope that things get at least a little bit better after this weekend.

I really wish she would talk to us and tell us what's going on more too, but I've reached a point where I've kind of just accepted it. Directly telling her it's what we want didn't really work, contacting Cover probably didn't do anything. Don't really know what else could possibly be done.

I know most of you are just going to see this as yet another falseflagging anti, but I'm kind of having a crisis of faith buds.
I feel like I'm going through the stages of grief with Gura. First I was just sad when she's gone, then I was jealous of other fanbases who's oshi streams more, and now I'm just bitter and angry and resentful. I'm still not gonna shit on Gura or anti her, but I'm just tired. Tired of this endless cycle of leaving and coming back like nothing happened.

The thing that gnaws at me is that I don't want to be one of those chumbuds that just abandons her like a faggot. You're supposed to be there for your oshi through thick and thin, that's what love is. But if she's not there for me, is it really fair? I just don't know anymore bros.

My friends who also watch Hololive literally make fun of me for being a chumbud, especially the ones with JP oshis. As proud as I am of her and how far she's come, around others it's practically a point of shame because other Holos have done so much more. I don't know what's worse at this point, looking like a cunt for leaving Gura or looking like a gullible idiot for staying convinced that she loves me.

I'm fine because I have enough other stuff I need to do and VODs to catch up on, but I do hope she goes back to more regular streaming at some point.

Waking up to a members post was nice. Guess that's her subtle heads up/apology for not streaming. I almost wish she just wouldn't mention it at all if she's not gonna stream it, but oh well.

I'm fine waiting for streams if she's busy, I just wish she would do more more posts and tweets, something to break up the silence.
