Is this just yet another case of pro-drop? I happened to look at this picture earlier today and was wondering why ちゃん occurs alone. Originally I thought it might have been so the viewer can imagine herself being addressed, but seeing that tweet I wonder if there's something more to it.

I find it funny. Haven't really seen it anymore since people, myself included, have increasingly moved to oshi threads here and there's no longer opportunities for those kinds of posts, but at the same time that probably prevents it from becoming overused.
