I think you are misunderstanding the chicken and creative people in general. Kiara's regular state has always been that of a shy, depressive, insecure, and negative person. The fact that she has the power to cheer up others and see them have a good time thanks to her is what motivates her and recharges her of energy. It shows her her efforts are not in vain and gives her feedback on the many talents that she has, because otherwise she would start criticizing everything about herself.
