2. newer cards (particularly 30-series nvidia and lots of AMD),
3. Windows 11

These three seem to combine to randomly cause OBS to eat huge chunks of GPU resources for random reasons, with fixes ranging from "use primary monitor" to "disable preview window" to "reseat graphics card".
If something did set off a runaway OBS, this outfit reveal stream likely having a ton more media sources would mean the runaway OBS utilisation would spike much higher and could easily push a failing graphics card past its limit where it hadn't been pushed by previous games

If the computer recovers and the GPU isn't permafried, the temp fix might involve trying to figure out if there is a runaway OBS issue and fixing that

Unfortunately as stated before that's one hell of a heisenbug to track down :(
