It's because JP companies are cartoonishly discriminatory and basically expect their EN talents to work insane hours with zero logistical support while providing every limitation under the sun. Most of the time they and their managers don't even speak the same language and even in the offhand chance they do, they are laughably underqualified. And the corporation often just flat-out lies to them about their intentions - see IRyS with Project Hope and how they did literally nothing for two years before killing the thing which only existed in name anyways. Ame literally had to build her own 3D studio because Cover was so useless. Can you name even one JP which has done this? They have to work twice as hard to produce half as much. And this is all set against a backdrop of unfairness – see Kiara’s discontent with how her JP senpais were given concerts on their first year while Myth passed their third anniversary months ago without ever once receiving the same. It’s a gauntlet on physical, psychological, and emotional fronts.
