I followed Selen religiously on debut but gave up on watching her after seeing how depressed she was getting and refusing to leave Niji back in like early 2022 with all of the cancelled projects. I vaguely kept tabs on her up until the coffee problem, and then when she was terminated, I got scared and tried to follow her as best I could. Then when the black screen shit happened, I panicked and started following /vt/ since I figured they'd have at least SOME idea of what the fuck was going on. Been here since for the sole purpose of not wanting to be surprised by some fuckery like that again.

Yeah, back then we thought it was weird, but Selen explained it pretty clearly in a community post if I remember right. It was really early on in her career so we didn't think much of it at the time, but it ended up just being another apology she'd have to get used to making... She was super bummed about it too because up to that point, she had made it a point to finish any game she started, and even said for a few days that she would work to get the perms back before eventually saying not only could she not get the perms back, but I think she was flat out banned from Resident Evil for the forseeable future and she would have to find a new horror game to stream for halloween month. I think that's why she started Dead Space?
