Thank God that the feminism shit show in politics got exposed in SK, because they were on a 1 way ticket to long term extreme matriarchy on the levels of actual 1800s ish patriarchy.
Fortunately the more conservative dude got elected there, as the lefty that was chill with China epuld have just straight up opened the window for the matriarchy movement to come back in a couple years and a lot of what he promised was based around promoting feminism.
People will say that west Europe and US/Canada are matriarchies at this point, and they're half right in the sense that the law always sides with the woman and there's a lot in place to benefit women, so as long as you're not being fucking stupid and taking walks at night in the city at 3AM generally you're better off than men, but SK at this point is an undeniable matriarchy. Guys make less, guys need higher reqs, guys get almost no custody, guys aren't entitled to alimony when the woman made more, guys need to have reasons specified for promotions whereas women basically don't etc. etc. And SK feminists still claim they're trying to reach "equality".
Whereas the western world is at the butt's end of 3rd wave feminism, SK is in the 5th wave. 4th was establishing a matriarchy, 5th is punishing men for existing. And it's a good lesson for where the rest of the world is headed if they don't wake the fuck up
