It must be such an interesting experience to rewatch this movie after having made it like she did. One of the most appealing aspects of it to me has always been how kind it is to those who failed.
It's like an ode to those who once had dreams, but for one reason or another, had to face reality and move on, or at least that's how I see it. And it fits with the kind of life she had and the kind of work she did before finding her place as our captain.
I could go for a membership watchalong of it, would be neat.

I really hope she's happy. Truly happy. I hope she lays on her bed after a long day, has a deep breath and feels fulfilled, despite any struggles.
