That's two of the reasons I picked polearms in the first place! I like the aesthetic a lot (and since Palkyries are smol people now, I guess they'll need monopod for normal guns too), and reach's probably quite vital when fighting either big monsters or humans I also like pole dancing more than I probably should
As for tail weapon, if we use the same proportion as Virginia opossums, it would be something like 2' long so pretty close to an average human arm, but the tail comes from behind so that might make the practical reach shorter outside turning tails at the enemy during attacks

I see some recreations that have a bit of inner edge, but they're recreations so I don't know how much I should trust them. The inner edge might not be needed if the pointy tip's good enough as bills
