Do's
>make sure you have a good mic and tech knowledge
>fill dead air
>try to play games you are good at (at first) rather than completely blind stuff
>read chat constantly to avoid missing messages
>(optional) say people names when talking to them
>It's not needed, but if you want an overlay make sure it's well sized (ask our resident overlay autist)

Don't s
>don't look at viewer numbers
>don't be a menhera or depression post
>don't try to collab as soon as possible with a female
>don't play all the same games everyone plays like Minecraft, APEX, Genshit, Phasmo
>don't let background noise be heard on mic (computer fan noises, people in background)

4clover children part is obvious as it's people who were born /here/.
most of the list are vtubers who are well discussed on /wvt/. Almost all of them i see named daily and are generally seen in a positive way.
I think it's meant to be something new viewers can come and look at for recommendations if they have nowhere to start.

Just wanted to give some advice to aspiring/new vtubers here.
If video games are going to be your main content as is the case with a lot of chuubas you need to think very carefully about your choices.
Try to avoid over saturated games, these would games where almost every hololive/normal streamer is playing them to death already.
A few examples:
>APEX
>Valorant
>Genshin (please don't fucking play this)
>Phasmo
>Amogus
>MOBAs (the exception would be if you are incredible at them)
The reason is that you aren't really separating yourself from the already popular people, if people wanted to see those games they'd probably just watch the holos or other streamers instead of you.

Try to come up with some niche you can fill or a certain genre you like and try to make yourself standout from other chuubas. Also please do not use streaming as a way to play through your backlog of boring to watch games (long story driven games) as some do, this is a bad thing too.
The games you play need to be interesting to watch but at the same time, something you actually really enjoy playing.

Reminder to all chuubas.
Please don't fall into the trap of just playing your backlog on stream, there are games that are simply too boring to watch for the viewer or are just too over saturated.

An example of such games;
>Genshin
>Apex
>Valorant
>Phasmo
>Minecraft
>Terraria
>MOBAs (LoL, DOTA)
>long story focused RPGs

Come up with your own schedule that's interesting and interactive for the viewer to watch and isn't just the same copypasta that everyone goes for.
