For better or worse (better and worse?) this kind of thing will be the oral history of vtubing in the community among newfags and most EOPs. Not referring to this guy specifically, but in general. A deep and nuanced understanding cannot be expected to persist in the long run. I take comfort because least the historical view of Coco will always be a positive one.
