She talks a bit lewdly and you boldly proclaim she is a horrible addict who ruins the lives of others, who fornicates and is filthy and unclean. How is that not assuming the worst? And that's not even mentioning that by such a puritanical standard, a Christian cannot ever watch a vtuber because most of their models are not modestly clothed, show cleavage and they do not proclaim the gospel 24/7 on their streams, which would mean you watching a vtuber is directly sinful.

So despite dabbling in sinful activities that is pleasurable, you might argue that you have self control and it does not ruin your life or faith. That is called Temperance and is a big virtue. You assuming that another person has no self control just seems like you are projecting your own faults onto her.

I think this is one of the times it helps that she has the Christmas cake image going on. She can make comments like these and her viewers will actually listen, then they can turn around, play halu a bit, and both sides can turn the others down knowing that it's all a joke.

Like her chat will be filled with "きつい / cringe" whenever Marine tries to pull "oh don't you guys just WANT me" act, but then when someone sends an SC joking about their honeymoon together, Marine can turn right back and yell "I AIN'T YO WIFE".

I guess it's kinda like the IDs where they can make halu jokes and both sides can laugh together cus they can trust that neither side will take it seriously, Marine can kinda trust her chat to be mature enough to just enjoy the joke while keeping their expectations checked.

I guess the opposite end is Nene with her "you're all my husbands" schtick being so silly and childish, yet it's effective in making sure no one single viewer will start to get the illusions that she personally loves them and them alone.

But otherwise it's rare to see other, less mature Holomems even attempt to give their viewers a reality check, not only because they'll lose out on the SCs but either if they come off as too serious, they could get flamed for "hating their viewers" or being "ungrateful" or whatever, or if they don't go serious enough the people the message was supposed to aim to would just take it at a joke. (ie, what happened with Axia)
