But that's literally all of us...
Except, like, Bodans and Saplings, and even they get their moments with that experience.

Then we wait for the Indonesian Independence Day stream tomorrow, of course.
Unless that gets cancelled, too, because God is an Amerys anti, and apparently Indonesian Facebook is getting really fucking pissed off at the ID girls right now for "bringing foreign oppressors in to celebrate the holiday where the country was liberated from their occupation."

Got it. I think some of this may have been guessed already, but it's still worthwhile.
>Discoverability is top-heavy and utterly abysmal on Twitch. The system is geared to boost only the top streamers, and everyone else is at a severe disadvantage. Spiff cites Twitch's horribly VOD system and (lack of) good recommendations as the key factors.
>Youtube gives way more tools to streamers to promote their stuff. Between thumbnails, scheduled streams, stream trailers and premieres, you are ahead before you ever begin a stream. Analytics indicate all of this really matters: there is a significant viewership boost associated with all of these.
>Whenever you want to try out a new streamer on Twitch, you get hit by a block of unskippable ads. Spiff has no numbers on this, but it's a fair assumption that this system turns away potential viewers before they can even give you a chance.
>VODs. VODs, VODs, VODs. According to Spiff and a number of his acquaintances, Stream VODs are some of his best-earning videos, in spite of being less popular on paper. Furthermore, they help prevent burnout, as they pay the streamer even while they're not actively streaming. In contrasts, the Twitch vod system is finicky, not promoted at all, and is a victim of the aforementioned ad system.
>Ads suck. Not only is the system ruthlessly aggressive, but it's not even efficient for advertisers. Apparently, companies are not getting the kind of conversion ratios that YouTube provides, which explains the repetitive advertising on the website.
>Twitch subs don't pay well, especially after the introduction of regional sub pricing. It was a success in terms of raw numbers, but has lowered payouts for the average streamer. Thanks to currency conversion shenanigans and some quirks of Amazon's cuts, it takes an average of eight hundred concurrent subs just to hit UK minimum wage. In contrast, YouTube does cover currency transaction costs. Furthermore, the aforementioned discoverability issues mean that maintaining subs is hellish. A break of a week or two can drop subs by as much as thirty percent, more so for less established streamers, while YouTube's data apparently indicates that this drop is far less steep for that platform's streamers. It has gotten to the point that getting intentionally banned might be the best way to go on holiday as a Twitch streamer: between the press and the boost you get from the return stream, you might actually be able not to lose a significant part of your sub income.
>Superchats versus Bits: Youtube takes 30% out of every superchat and, again, covers any currency conversion fees. Twitch, in contrast, takes 40%, and still doesn't cover currency conversion, which takes a significant chunk of low-Bit donations.
>In spite of all of this, Twitch is actively bleeding money. According to Spiff's sources, a hour of anyone streaming costs Twitch up to $55 dollars at a baseline and the revenue is not close to justifying these costs. The aggressive ads do little to fix this: companies are not seeing the same impressions on Twitch as on Youtube, and as a result, CPM ratios are abysmal. Apparently, Spiff is getting 15-20$ for a thousand ad views on YouTube, compared to getting less than a dollar per a thousand viewers for Twitch's far more aggressive ads.
>The management seems to be in an abysmal state. In response to the unprofitability, Twitch management seems to have only doubled down on bad decisions. They've cut useful community liaison positions, and apparently, there are rumors of a gacha mechanic for emotes, including, believe it or not, Koopy-based emotes? The bad tech koopys, not the questionably delicious sandwich koopys. Spiff relates an anecdote of Twitch highlighting a Brazil based streamer who runs ten minutes of ads each hour as what they consider an ideal streamer.
>Finally, Spiff makes a prediction: Twitch has two years left to live, tops, if it continues down its current course.

Deadbeats, I could've sworn that I would be watching your girl by now.
I didn't think that IRyS could get three hours out of this game when Kaela could only get two and a half.
And she isn't even showing signs of slowing down...

To be fair that's because the South Korean Government has positioned their foreign policy goals to curry favor with the USA, and has decided to do that by currying support with the young middle class population of America by funneling government money into projects that are meant to purposely design South Korean entertainment in such a way that it catches on in the United States.
This isn't even a secret, that's their official government policy, they invented K-Pop to do the same thing with Japan and the USA.
