Would you mind answering the following questions?

>preferred language
>can you tolerate multi-lingual ones
>male or female, or both
>Do you prefer idol mentality ie GIRLS ONLY NO GUYS or streamer mentality where they can work with anyone
>Willing to accept corporation controlled ones who are otherwise safe or indies who might push some boundries
>Do you want them to be strictly a character or do you accept there is, infact a human, who parts some of their personality, or even all of it, into their models?

There are too many to just outright reccomend, could just look up "vtuber clips" and add in modifiers ie "english vtuber clips" and if they seem good chase them up via the included links.

Or just stick to clips if you enjoy JP vtubers but can't understand them without subs, sometimes translators will be in chat but don't expect that from alot of them

Let's get serious here.

Back in the /jp/ days they were scared they'll be injecting politics into their little fantasy AND THEY WERE RIGHT but no one gives a single shit about the twitch indies which shit up the platform

>NUMBERSNUMBERSNUMBERS
Also back in /jp/ days this was discussed, kizuna ai was always top of the subs, so where were the viewers, meanwhile her kohai's got more consistent VIEWS on their static videos, and shitposter kaguya luna proved that, few videos, but high viewer count, and climbing subs, sadly all for nothing due to set backs.

Gura is only top of the subs because her previous fanbase were memers following for teh memez and that ballooned because people see big numbers and get the illusion of talent, I find gura funny, but she isn't 3 million subs funny, but EN as a whole got a massive sub boost thanks to branding and appealing to a much larger audience

JP holo's worked hard to get their million subs considering how tiny japan is, EOP and "curiosity" subs aren't sustainable

As for nijisanji EN I feel their numbers are a more accurate measure for their fanbase, and because they're alot more open to themselves and not catering to idol faggatory it filters basement dwellers who want the girls and guys all to themselves.

My /jp/ days may be over but this tribal faggatory is not, so I say this, like who you like and who you don't fuck off don't sub don't NOTHING, just know this, if you want your safe space stick to hololive, if you want more honest streamers go nijisanji, but unless you know Japanese you'll never get the full experience that we had back then

>Kaguya luna
>Upon debut exploded in popularity
>Full of shit posting energy
>Connected to US here because her supposed translator talked to us and actively appeal to english speakers because of this (but only with insider knowledge not an actual official connection)
>Took twitter by storm because she would make her presence known by tweeting all the other vtubers CONSTANTLY, a practice others now adays use to great effect
>Often poked at vtuber trends and for some time refused to copy them
>even had a whole vtuber company being set up with pinkie pop hepburn as her immediate kohai
>her growth was set tom surpass kizuna ai who was at the top at the time
>let down by infrequent upload schedule
>had issues livestreaming requiring someone on stream to bounce off from
>her translator eventually left but was replaced by fan translators but we lost the insider
>her tweeting hit a brick wall when it was observed during one long twitter conversation that she was responding to a fake kizuna account, when observed it seemed like a genuine mistake but this activity seemed to have stopped due to this
>she finally hit one million subs but that was soon taken away by angry fans due to her infrequent uploads
>now forever just shy of 1 million she just stopped outright
>the vtuber project dropped
>pinkie pop hepburn left months after after struggling although she did have a decent if small audience

She's still out there, as dedicated fans know, she simply reverted to her original self, while not EOP friendly her uploads are still full of shit poster energy, but Kaguya Luna as many of us were introduced to is long gone, left behind by various merch including statues, figma and nendoroid, a cd album and a whole bunch of merch including a beer mug which I still have even though I don't drink heh.

So long Cocaine-chan/strong zero/Tsuki-chan, Kaguya Luna
