I was rewatching some parts of Ame's VR stream and this caught my attention.
3090 has whooping 24GBs for VRAM, how the hell was that near the limit?
For comparsion, a 3080 has half of that.
I'm starting to think this is the main problem with Ame's setup. Maybe something in her setup is hogging all her VRAM? Any experts?
As a reference, I played Alyx a year ago or so, and I don't remember it using more than 7GB if VRAM with my 2080.
She used her laptop to render the 3D model (dual PC setup) and the game itself was buttery smooth, I'm just curious.
