/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Decided to watch the Alleta Sky collab vod today because that was the only collab that I haven't seen any bits from, not even clips.
And after seeing all the talk about how it was either boring or just bad (and mostly no talk about that collab at all), I was pleasantly surprised. She was doing a lot of things that other collab partners were praised for (not treating Neuro as a chatbot, wasn't talking over her, was engaging with and supporting her schizo ramblings like Lia and Shondo did, there was even one moment near the end when she convinced Neuro to repeatedly call her mom, like Anny would do much later). The split personality gimmick was pretty fun (the only one who bored me a bit was the pink haired one because she spent too much time pursuing the rat burgers talk) and each managed to get Neuro to talk to them in a different way and ramble on about different subjects. The last three (Gaia, Violetta and horse) were the highlights of the stream. It was surprising and fresh to see Neuro being the submissive one for once, it was hilarious seeing Aletta switch between her normal and Gaia selves just to laugh her ass off, and my sides were sent into orbit when Vedal started slowly moving Neuro's model away from Gaia as the "punishment" talk was happening. And also all the weird talk about psychic powers, cooking people, fate and free will, discussing imaginary kids, Aletta trying to make Neuro write a story and other stuff was all very entertaining. And Aletta herself was very enthusiastic, cute and put a lot of effort into the collab.
So why does this collab get no love at all? The only reasons why I'm not giving it a 10/10 is the pink haired persona dragging things out and Aletta deciding to not sing together with Neuro because she couldn't contain her laughter (was she constantly laughing because she was just nervous the whole time, or is it normal for her? I never watched her so I don't know). I really hope she collabs with Neuro again in her new identity.
