I dont think so. If it were only a repetition of wvt I would say so, but the timeline change makes it up for new possibilities.
Think about Star Wars 7 vs Once upon a time on Hollywood, how one does nothing but try to copy the original while the other one tries to deliberate change the past by stopping the Manson murders.
