don't get me wrong, YT keeps taking steps in the right direction, but there is too much catching up to do. until some mass exodus of biggest twitch streamers due to even more bad decisions by twitch happens, YT will always be behind as far as the "go-to platform for streaming" goes
YT livestream viewer UX is so fucking cancerous due to the player's size, since you either watch it like a regular YT video or full screen. one is just bad, and the other doesn't 't let you see the chat. and man, the chat is just fucking sad to look at, everyone feels like a 9 year old just saying random things, thinking the streamer will read their message. chat is an important part of livestreaming, so YT should improve that sooner rather than later.

the discoverability of streamers is non-existent
