In psychoanalysis, the superego (the morality side of personality) is built from the destruction of the Oedipus Complex. How is it destroyed? When the child identifies with the father and surrenders sexual desire for the mother. All children undergo an Oedipus phase during the genital stage of development. Now, recall that Flayon had a difficult childhood. This means he may not have close connections with his father, which means his superego is relatively weak and his Oedipus Complex remains intact. This also explains his ADHD, as he was probably suppressed from ever expressing his Id (the primal part of personality) which leads to a weak ego.
Now here's where it all adds up. A weak superego is being overridden by the Id, a weak Superego, an ADHD, and an Oedipus complex. In other words, Flayon has weak impulse control combined with an unbroken Oedipus Complex. Therefore, it is likely he likes older women.
