I definitely want to hear about her trip when she gets back, as well as give her the other thing I'm working on as an additional Christmas gift to her. But as for me, I think it's really hard to get by only experiencing brief flashes of happiness. It's like I'm living life with the gas light on, it's not enough to be sustainable. And it's not like there's an end goal of actually being with her or anything either, since that'll never happen.
