Go torrent some of "The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs", and you'll start to get it I think. I didn't think I was that big of a horror guy either, but now it's one of my favourite shows. "Sleepaway Camp" is a good ep to start with, has a great interview with the girl star.
