i knew little to no japanese when i first started watching my old oshis back in 2019 but after consistently watching them and doing tiny bit of studying here and there i can understand at least 60%. right now my kamioshi is the only reason why i even bother to continue learning the language even if he said that he would learn english for his kaigais so that we wouldnt have to worry about studying japanese. i still don't know a lick of kanji and can barely read though after all this time kek
