What is even there to think about? No cars in front, push gas. Cars in front or red light, push brake, keep the car sort of between the while lines, slow down if the radar detector starts going off. Hell, if it's your daily commute, it's totally brainless.

When I was in flight school and driving 1h:30 to go and 2h to returns, I did sometimes wish I had a bus tailored specifically for me so I could plan/study for the flights during the commute rather than having to worry about that shit the day before, but at the same time, to me, driving is the one part of the day where I have an excuse not to be anxious about anything else. No emails, no studying, no work, no tasks except get this car from A to B.
